My wife and I recently bought a home built in 1973 here in Florida. It is built on a slab, and although the inspection said everything was hunky dory, we have noticed some low water pressure at the kitchen sink and nearly zero water pressure at a faucet in the back yard. But the pressure is okay at other faucets, like at the front of the house and in bathrooms.
I tried turning off the water at what I thought was the main going into the house at the garage, but that did not turn off the water in the house. Our monthly bill does not show an excessive amount of water usage, so I don't think we have a leak.
I don't want to have to pay somebody go go on a fishing expedition. How do I diagnose what is the cause of this low pressure?
