So, I'm going to resheet my deck... its old and rotting, and my daughter picked up a splinter yesterday. Not a fun Sunday. Anyway, I used the Lowes Deck Designer and found some pricing on decking... composite is out of the question, I don't have 4k sitting around, so I'm going to do treated... like it is now.
Looking at the picture, the current setup is the long skinny run is vertical, and the larger area is horizontal. I really like the idea of doing a diagonal deck. Is there any reason to not do it that way? Which way looks best? The red line on each of the drawings is an inswing door with a storm door. The inside of the "L" shape is wall.
I don't mind the extra labor cutting all of the pieces... I want it to look nice.
Is there a design that I should consider instead of those?
Thanks in advance. Central Ohio http://ift.tt/1KtS6bJ
