We are trying to figure out how to make our house look less boring.
We bought it a couple years ago and have been doing projects inside and a little bit of landscaping. We are going to replace the garage doors soon, but we want to make the front look better and more unique.
We've thought of a lot of different options, but I have seen some really cool ideas come out of other posts on this subreddit and am curious what you could do with our house.
We would like to keep it more on the traditional side, but would like it to have a nice clean modern look. Ideas we've tossed around:
- Adding a small front porch over the front door
- Adding a larger front porch across the front of the house
- Extending the existing roof to create a two story front porch with tall columns
- Adding a brick facade
- Changing the color of the siding
We've thought about every combination of those things and would like some feedback and maybe some other ideas we haven't thought about yet.
