Feng shui — which means wind and water, is an art form developed by
the Chinese. It’s an art form of placement. With the use of this art
form you can create an environment which is in harmony and one that
flows with your life energy. The result is an environment that supports
health and happiness. It is also said to position you and calls out on
your behalf for wealth and happiness.
Interestingly, many of us can feel naturally when we are made to feel at peace with an environment. Feng Shui is in many ways, just a developed sense of what you may already know. If your environment pleases you, then you are headed in the right direction.
In the image above, the creator uses wood, cloth, lighting and plants to create an ultra-simple and peaceful oasis. There’s an intelligent use of calming and welcoming colors. To the untrained eye, the impact of color in our lives can go seemingly unnoticed. A person may feel better or understand that they like something they are experiencing, such as a room’s design. But not know exactly what it is about the design that is impacting them. In many cases, simply developing the right color palate can make all the difference.

Students of Feng Shui can incorporate skin and earth tones to create a soothing, relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. Natural and warm colors can bring tranquility and wonderful energy into a space delivering healing qualities.
We’ll continue to touch upon the subject of Feng Shui over the next
few days. In the mean time, if you want to learn more. Just look up Feng
Shui on-line and see how understanding its concepts can start to change
