I am looking to do a 20' x 12' single story home extension in Gatineau (near Ottawa, Canada). The one quote I got was for $65k with a new concrete foundation. Can a project like this be done using Helical Piles? I don't know much about them, but the little reading I have done makes me think it would be possible. Would this significantly reduce my cost?
