I recently moved into a house that has a NSF/ANSI 42 carbon filter under the sink that dispenses to a small dedicated faucet. I want to filter more than this (NSF/ANSI 53) so rather than toss it and buy a completely new system that does both, can I simply add another filter either before or after it? I'm concerned that there will be insufficient flow rate and/or water pressure to whichever filter is secondary. (shopping online I see that filter specs list minimum feed psi but never list the out psi, only flowrate)
